About Becky

As the Research and Development Group Leader for OPTE, Becky Kaufman is an entrepreneurial product developer with expertise in technically challenging initiatives and human-centric product design. Experienced in translating consumer insights into product requirements and designing UI/UX, Becky is passionate about solving tough problems and delighting consumers with innovative products.

Over the past 6 years, Becky has been instrumental in the development of OPTE, transforming the device from a functional prototype to a finished, manufacturable product that fits into consumers’ lives. Across her work with OPTE, Becky has interviewed over 500 OPTE consumers and has been granted 2 OPTE patents.

While she is not working on OPTE, Becky spends her free time boxing, traveling, and hiking.
